Sacha Baron Cohen’s on-screen daughter Tutar in Borat’s upcoming film has been revealed as actress Maria Bakalova.
The dazzling Bulgarian star, 24, made headlines this week for a controversial scene with Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
The scene shows Giuliani putting his hand up his pants, though he has vehemently denied doing anything “inappropriate” to the 15-year-old character of Maria.
During a bogus interview, a 24-year-old actress who plays Borat’s daughter poses as a television news reporter to get closer to Giuliani.
She is later seen flirting with the lawyer in a hotel suite.
As Trump’s adviser reclines on a bed, tucking his shirt deep into his pants, Borat runs in his lingerie and yells, “He’s 15 years old! He’s too old for you! “

Giuliani then spoke about the scene, telling WABC radio: “He was fully clothed at all times,” and told a reporter that he was simply tucking his shirt down over his shoulder.
And he added: “I lie down and put my shirt inside and at that moment they have this photo they take, which looks manipulated in any case.”
Since then, Maria has been praised for her performance as a satirical character.
His character in the film joins Borat on his travels across America, as they perform a series of hilarious stunts on members of the public.
The film, which launches on Amazon Prime on Friday, is actually one of Maria’s first major English-language films.
The actress, who was born in Burgas, Bulgaria, grew up learning music, taking singing and flute lessons from the age of six.

He then discovered a deep passion for acting and enrolled in a drama school at the National School of Arts in Burgas, and later at the National Academy of Theater and Cinematographic Arts in Sofia.
He graduated last year, according to his IMDB page.
Although new to the acting scene, Maria’s social media shows that she is an avid human rights defender, participating in the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement.

Before landing a role in Borat’s next film, Maria’s résumé spans Bulgaria, as well as Italy.
He has appeared in various Bulgarian TV shows and films, including Tipichno and Last Call.
And he has even made a name for himself on the Italian acting scene, appearing on the television series Gomorrah.
Most recently, he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote his latest movie with Sacha prior to release.
