What are the latest restrictions?
Two-thirds of the population of Wales now live in lockdown, including the country’s capital, Cardiff, as well as Swansea and Llanelli.
Neath Port Talbot, Torfaen, and Vale of Glamorgan introduced new restrictions effective September 28.
The restrictions mean that people should not gather indoors, apart from extended homes, and they should not enter or leave their regions without a “reasonable” excuse.
People should also work from home whenever possible, said Welsh Health Minister Vaughan Gething.
The rules have also been tightened at Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, Newport and Rhondda Cynon Taf. And on October 1, new restrictions were introduced in Conwy, Flintshire, Denbighshire and Wrexham.
People cannot enter or exit these areas without a reasonable excuse, such as traveling for work or education, and people will only be able to meet other people they are not living with outdoors at the moment.
In those areas, people have not been allowed to leave or enter the county area without a “reasonable excuse”, people over the age of 11 must wear face covers in stores, and people will only be able to gather outside . Extended homes have also been temporarily suspended.
As of Friday, October 16, people living in areas with high levels of coronavirus in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland cannot travel to Wales.
