Melanie Sykes returned to the UK for the first time since she broke her lips with a gondolier more than half her age.
The Sunday Mirror revealed the 50-year-old star’s Christmas romance with 23-year-old Riccardo Simionato.
Mel headed to Venice with a friend last week and the mother-of-two was photographed giving the worker a kiss after taking a trip down the city’s famous canals.
Sadly, it came to an end on Thursday when Riccardo carried Mel’s suitcase to a water taxi as he drove home.
He kept his arm around the presenter as they traveled to Marco Polo airport before saying goodbye.
Now back in the UK, Mel came out after posting a photo of a trip with Riccardo saying she was “a little dizzy”.

Keeping a low-toned profile and chunky scarf, the former model raced to her car after renovations over the weekend.
A Venice hotel worker said: “They seemed to be completely in love.
“You could tell she was older than him, but she looks amazing and it wasn’t a surprise to see a younger man with her.
“They made a very beautiful couple.”

The Mirror tracked down the gondolier, but he refused to kiss and count.
At first, Riccardo claimed that he didn’t know who Mel was and said, “I don’t remember. I know a lot of people in this job. “
But then he added: “I met her as a client, but I can’t talk about it.”
When asked if he prefers English women to local ones, he replied: “Every person is different. Nationality does not matter. It’s true, right?
But when asked if he was done with each other, he replied, “Over.”

A barista who saw Riccardo and Mel kissing in Campo dei Frari square said: “I didn’t realize how old she was.
“Ricky’s father is also a gondolier, she’s the right age for him! All second-generation gondoliers are like Latino lovers.
“They get a lot of attention from female tourists, especially Ricky.
“But I’ve never seen him kiss one of them before.
“He’s a good boy. He’s very charming and knows how to win over women with his style.”
