Michelle Hardwick of Emmerdale has given birth to her baby with Kate Brooks.
The 44-year-old actress broke the happy news to her fans on Instagram on Sunday after welcoming her son Edward into the world ahead of the weekend.
Emmerdale fans will no doubt be delighted with the news and the adorable first pictures of their son.
In the first pictures, the couple took turns posing with their newborn after its birth.
Mothers have already given their son a sweet nickname, as they plan to call Edward “Teddy”.
She wrote on Instagram: “On Friday October 9th, this handsome boy entered the world.
“Edward ‘Teddy’ Peter Brooks we are so in love with you #ourlittleTeddyboy.”
Kate and Michelle got married and now they have become parents for the first time.

They were married at Elvis’s home in Graceland last year.
Within a few months of dating, the couple got engaged to be married in 2018.
Sparks started flying when they first crossed paths on the soap set.
Earlier this year, Michelle spoke about leaving as Vanessa Woodfield so she could go on maternity leave.
Her character Vanessa was diagnosed with stage three bowel cancer.
In the heartbreaking story, he got his girlfriend Charity to adopt their son Johnny in the worst case scenario.
She told Metro: “Charity adopting Johnny is a big step in their relationship.
“Obviously, since I won’t be on screen for the foreseeable time due to my pregnancy, the story will continue as Charity navigates her life and parenthood in Vanessa’s absence.”
