BRUNO FERNANDES planned Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tactics and lashed out at his teammates during the break in their 6-1 loss to Spurs.
The 26-year-old midfielder was removed at half-time and replaced by Fred after his furious ‘rage’ in the locker room.
United trailed 4-1 at halftime during the clash against José Mourinho’s team.
Fernandes burst through the tunnel before launching a scathing attack on the players and their coach.
According to The Mirror, a Manchester United informant has now revealed what was said.
One revealed, “You couldn’t help but hear it.
“He was clearly furious after having a face like thunder when he ran through the tunnel.
“He attacked his teammates, accusing them of not defending the proud name of Manchester United.
“He kept yelling: ‘We’re supposed to be Manchester United. This shouldn’t be happening. ‘
“It was clear that the coach was also criticized because he spoke of the wrong tactics.
“There were other raised voices, but his was the one that seemed to carry the main force.”
But a Manchester United official has denied allegations that there was a raid.
They said: “There was no discussion. Players often express their views.”
Fernandes gave his team the advantage against the Spurs before they fell apart and conceded four goals at the other end.
United are reportedly concerned about the physical and mental pressure being put on Fernandes.
He has been the star of the show at Old Trafford since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon in January.
Fernandes has been on international duty this week but is expected to return to the squad for Saturday’s clash against Newcastle.
