Amanda Holden looked sensational when she made her entry to the 2020 Britain’s Got Talent final on Saturday night, after a week in which Ofcom received more than 200 complaints about her choice of clothing during an earlier episode.

Stepping out alongside judges Alesha Dixon, Ashley Banjo and David Walliams, Amanda, 49, sported a semitransparent rose gold number, with a sloping shoulder and a slight split to the leg.

She wore her dark blonde locks in a ponytail and added heels to the look, her makeup flawless in shades to match the rest of her ensemble.

BGT came to an end on Saturday night, having struggled for a year in which many shows, such as The X Factor and Love Island, ceased production altogether.

The series was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic during the spring, when it typically airs auditions and live finals before the summer. But ITV made sure to return this fall to complete the contest.

Contestants took the stage to perform for the last time, with young magician Aidan McCann tying up Judge David in a trick in which he would guess what word he had written.

Next up was Aaron and Jasmine, a dance duo, who put on a show full of energy.

This was followed by my magic man Damien O’Brien, who asked Amanda to participate in a stunt that saw her search for him on Instagram.

This left the judge a bit red when she realized that he followed her account on the social media page, but that she did not follow him.

He goes on again: 'Oh! I'll quickly follow you there! he said, quickly pressing the 'Follow' tab on his screen

Magic: He then had to hand his phone over to Damien, who made it disappear, then reappeared wrapped in rope.

Props: When Amanda's phone was revealed to be wrapped inside, it flew off her desk and across the studio floor in a slightly awkward moment.

Gripping the rope, Damien returned to the stage, untangling it as he went.

But Amanda brushed it off, too stunned by how Damien had done the trick.

Sign Along With Us were the next to take the stage to amaze the judges and spectators. Father and son James and Dylan Piper were next. They performed from a fake set, pretending to be at home before appearing in the studio.

The judges (including Ashley replacing the injured Simon Cowell) have been sitting a social distance away for the finale, after contestants waited patiently all summer to complete the competition.

The audience has been replaced by a virtual audience, allowing the atmosphere of the arena to be prominent in accordance with the strict COVID-19 rules that remain in effect.

The five finalists chosen by the judges will perform after each semifinal, as well as the five acts submitted to public vote throughout the series.

They’ve finished the Steve Royle variety act; dance duo, Aaron and Jasmine; magician, Magical Bones; singer and comedy performer, Jon Courtenay; and comedian Nabil Abdulrashid.

The remaining public voting acts will be revealed on Saturday with the ten acts pre-recording their performances the night before for security reasons.

Viewers will also be wowed by performances by Les Misérables’ brilliant combined companies – The Staged Concert, The Phantom of the Opera and Mary Poppins.

After seven months of total closure, 60 artists have come together to evoke the dazzling lights of the West End, including Michael Ball, Matt Lucas, Carrie Hope Fletcher, John Owen-Jones, Shan Ako, Killian Donnelly, Zizi Strallen and Charlie Stemp.

This special performance coincides with Les Miserables’ 35th birthday and the Phantom of the Opera’s 34th anniversary.
