Exeter Chiefs 35-6 Bath Rugby Live: Chiefs to play Wasps in Premiership final

It’s game day.

Finally, the wait is over when the Exeter Chiefs face Bath Rugby in the Gallagher Premiership semi-finals at Sandy Park on Saturday.

League-leading Exeter are in the play-offs for the fifth year in a row, while Bath has not been in the final four since 2014/15, when the Blue, Black and White were beaten in the final by the Saracens.

Bath, of course, only received confirmation that they were in the play-offs on Wednesday following the saga surrounding the Sale Sharks and their now-lost match against Worcester Warriors following a Covid-19 outbreak at the club that they have seen. 27 people contract the virus.

Rob Baxter’s Exeter is looking to turn it into a national and European double with a spot already secured in the Heineken Champions Cup final next weekend against Racing 92.

The other semifinal will come when the Chiefs and Bath begin with the Wasps hosting the Bristol Bears at 1.30pm on Saturday.

The match will start at 4.30pm on Saturday.
