Travelers returning from the Greek islands of Lesbos, Tinos, Serifos, Santorini, and Zakynthos will no longer need to isolate themselves.

The relaxed measures will apply to people arriving in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, but Scotland has yet to confirm whether it will do the same.

It follows a drop in new coronavirus infections in popular tourist destinations and will take effect at 4 a.m. Saturday.

However, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has said that no country will be removed from England’s quarantine list this week.

Last week, The British in Turkey and Poland stayed struggling to find tickets back to the UK.

If they came home after 4 a.m. on Saturday, they would have had to isolate themselves for fifteen days.

The Caribbean islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba were also included on the list that requires travelers to self-quarantine upon return.

Shapps also revealed last week that people who repeatedly refuse to isolate themselves will be fined up to £ 10,000.

The week before Turkey and Poland were added to the self-isolation list, it was announced that people returning from Denmark, Iceland, Slovakia and the Caribbean island of Curaçao would have to self-quarantine.
