US President Donald Trump says he is beginning to feel better after being taken to the hospital for the coronavirus.
In the latest video posted during his stay, he said Saturday that he was “starting to feel good” and was eager to “finish the campaign the way it started.”
Speaking from his room at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, a tired-looking Mr. Trump said, “I came here, I didn’t feel so good, I feel much better now.
“We are working hard to get me back, I have to go back because we still have to make America great again.”
“I will be back. I think I’ll be back soon and I hope to finish the campaign the way it started.”
The four-minute video comes after a day of mixed messages from your staff and medical team about his health since he was diagnosed with the virus Thursday night.
The medical team had said that he was improving and was already talking about returning to the White House, but minutes later his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, had told reporters that his vital signs for the previous 24 hours had been “very worrying.” .

The president’s doctor said he has been given a five-day course of remdesivir, an antiviral drug originally created to treat Ebola.
They gave him another experimental treatment – an antibody drug developed by Regeneron – before it was flown to the hospital by military helicopter on Friday.
Speaking of scientific advances regarding the disease, he said Saturday night: “We are happening things that seem like miracles that come from God.”
He thanked the hospital staff “for the incredible work they have been doing,” as well as the general public and world leaders for their support.
