Heavy rains are forecast to hit Coventry and Warwickshire today.
There is a yellow weather warning for the entire day today, Saturday, October 3, and until noon tomorrow, Sunday, October 4.
The Met Office says heavy rains can lead to flooding and cause transportation disruptions.
The West Midlands Network advises people to consider whether their travel is necessary before traveling and warns people who expect disruptions.
A spokesperson said: “Due to the adverse weather affecting the country caused by Storm Alex, there may be interruptions to your train journey.
“Consider whether your trip is necessary and expect possible delays. On some lines, there is a 50 mph speed restriction.”
So this is bad news for those of you who may have planned to enjoy the outdoors all day because it will likely rain a lot in Coventry and Warwickshire for much of the day.
