Manchester United have been told that no less than £ 108 million will see them land Jadon Sancho before the deadline.
United are hopeful that a deal can be reached with Borussia Dortmund for Sancho before the transfer window closes next Tuesday.
But United is adamant that they won’t overpay for him.
Dortmund have reiterated that they will not back down in their valuation of the England forward and will not consider selling him unless United reaches the asking price.
Discussions are ongoing between United and Dortmund, via an intermediary, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer desperate to sign the 20-year-old to bolster his attack this season.

United expected Dortmund to accept a £ 90 million offer for Sancho, the closer the deadline approached.
But the Bundesliga club is adamant and adamant that it will only sell on its terms.
While United has made significant strides in salary and agent fees in their search for Sancho, the hurdle they have so far failed to overcome has been the winger’s fee.
Sancho is not with the Dortmund team for the German Super Cup clash with Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
He has not traveled to Bavaria because he suffers from what BVB has called “a respiratory infection”.
United continue to advance with a move by Porto left-back Alex Telles, while Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembélé remains an option, but only on a loan deal.
