Jurgen Klopp has revealed that new signing Thiago Alcantara will miss Liverpool’s next two games.
The £ 25 million transfer made his debut in the Premier League win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, earning much applause for his performance.
The Liverpool manager had hinted that the Spanish international was in line to make his debut against Arsenal on Monday night.
However, news emerged over the weekend that Thiago had missed a series of training sessions in preparation for the Gunners clash due to an unspecified problem.

Those reports proved true with former Bayern Munich being left out of Klopp’s side for the 3-1 win at Anfield.
Klopp admitted that he would miss the Premier League clash against Aston Villa, as well as being out of the Carabao Cup tie with Arsenal.
“After the international break, it will be fine,” he told Sky Sports.

And then before the break, Robertson corrected his mistake by converting a Trent Alexander-Arnold cross.
The game then concluded in the final stages when Diogo Jota scored his first goal for the club in his Premier League debut.
Jota arrived the day after Thiago and followed suit with an impressive first performance in a red jersey.
