Everyone who receives a positive coronavirus test in England can now enter their results into the NHS Covid-19 app, the UK Health Ministry said, after an issue was fixed that prevented some users from recording their positive results.
The contact tracing app faced a problem that meant that tens of thousands of positive and negative results could not be recorded after its launch on Thursday.
Meanwhile, videos on social media showed busier streets Saturday night as pubs follow the new 10 p.m. curfew.

Students should be able to go home on Christmas, Labor says
College students should be allowed to return home to their families at Christmas, Labor has said, amid fears that coronavirus outbreaks could keep young people in the hallways when term ends.
Thousands of students are currently confined to their rooms due to an increase in cases at institutions such as Glasgow, Manchester Metropolitan and Edinburgh Napier.
Matt Hancock refused last week to rule out asking students to stay on campus for Christmas, after government science advisor Sir Mark Walport said the move could be necessary to stop the virus from spreading to relatives. greater.
“It is unthinkable that students would be locked in their rooms and unable to return home to spend Christmas with their families,” said Kate Green, the parallel education secretary.
“The government must promise that this will not happen and work with universities to allow all students to access the tests so that they can travel home safely.”
The outbreaks have forced students at some universities to isolate themselves.
