Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are expecting a baby in early 2021, Buckingham Palace announced.

The couple are said to be “very happy.”

A publication of the Royal Family account on Twitter confirmed the news and added the Queen Y Duke of edinburgh they are delighted. “

Y Eugenia, who ranks 10th in line to the throne, posted a photo of two tiny furry slippers on his Instagram, joking: “Jack and I are very excited for early 2021.”

The baby will be the queen’s ninth great-grandchild, after the arrival of his eighth – the son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

But Eugenie’s parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah, the Duchess of York, will become grandparents for the first time.

The baby or girl will be born eleventh in the line of succession to the throne, but will not be a SAR and will not have a title.

This is because while his mother is a princess, his father is untitled and therefore the child will be born through a female line, which means he will be a teacher or a young lady.

That would change if the Queen decides to step in and give Brooksbank, who is Casamigos Tequila’s European brand manager, co-founded by George Clooney, a county or amends the rules.
