The right-back has signed an agreement that will keep him in Molineux until June 2023, with the option to extend it until June 2025.
The 26-year-old arrives with ten great honors to his name and three seasons at the Camp Nou, where he is impressed in the League and Champions League.
Semedo, who has played 13 times for his country alongside several of his new Wolves teammates, now becomes an immediate option for Nuno Espirito Santo on the right side.

Having started his journey with Sintrense in the Portuguese third division, Semedo’s big opportunity came in 2012 when Benfica acquired his services and began to develop an exciting and offensive full-back.

Having won two Portuguese league titles and three national cups, Semedo lured Spanish giant Barcelona in 2017 and returned his faith during 124 appearances.
The youngster really burst onto the scene during 2017 when he was named to the Champions League Breakthrough XI for his UEFA “pace, power and eye for a killer pass”.
Two La Liga titles followed with the famous red and blue jersey, as well as the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.
Last season, Semedo played 42 times for Barcelona, providing six assists and scoring on the final day of the season against Alavés in July.

Meanwhile, Semedo’s 13 matches for Portugal saw him named the 2019 Nations League winner alongside Rui Patricio, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho.
He will now connect with the trio in his new setting in Molineux and could make his Premier League debut against West Ham United on Sunday.
