Wolves linked with transfer movement for Oxlade-Chamberlain
Wolverhampton Wanderers has been linked to an exciting move for Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The 27-year-old is likely to drop into Anfield’s pecking order following the arrival of Spanish international Thiago from Bayern Munich.
Jurgen Klopp already has Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Naby Keita, Georginio Wijnaldum and Curtis Jones to choose from in midfield, which means a sale before the end of the window is likely.
And Oxlade-Chamberlain, who joined the Reds from Arsenal in a £ 35 million deal three years ago, could be available before the October 5 deadline.
According to The Mirror, the Wolves are looking to build on their burgeoning relationship with Liverpool, following recent transfer deals involving Diogo Jota and Ki-Jana Hoever, to bring Oxlade-Chamberlain to Molineux.

Neves sends message to Jota after Liverpool move
Rubén Neves said goodbye to his teammate and close friend Diogo Jota after his transfer to Liverpool.
The popular Portuguese forward scored 44 goals in 131 games for Wolves after joining the initially loaned club of Atlético Madrid in 2017.
He was instrumental in the Wolves winning the championship title and played a major role in leading the club to an FA Cup semi-final and Europa League quarter-finals during his time at Molineux.
Jota joined Wolves at the same time as midfielder Neves, who has also been an integral part of the team’s rise under Nuno Espirito Santo. Before joining the Wolves, Jota spent a season on loan at FC Porto, where he was teammates with Neves and now both are full-fledged internationals for their country.
Posting a photo of the couple celebrating one of the Lobos de Jota’s three hat-tricks on Instagram, Neves said: “Four years. It was a pleasure.”

The wolves are one step away from completing the deal with Semedo
The Wolves are reportedly set to sign Barcelona right-back Nelson Semedo.
The Wolves have been looking for a replacement for Matt Doherty following his move to Tottenham Hotspur and Semedo appears to be their man.
Guardian and Sky Sport Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano Yesterday reported that the Wolves are “one step” from closing a deal to bring the Portuguese defender to England.
Romano added: “In the next few hours Barça is going to sell Semedo to Wolves and (Arturo) Vidal to Inter.”
Semedo, 26, has been made available for transfer by Barcelona after the arrival of Dutch coach Ronald Koeman and, of course, is a client of Jorge Mendes.

The excitement is palpable among Wolves fans with Nelson Semedo set to become the club’s fifth signing in the transfer window.
Fabio Silva, Marcal, Vitinha and Ki-Jana Hoever have already signed up for Wolves and Semedo is the man Nuno has identified to replace Matt Doherty at right back.
The wolf transfer business may not be finished, but Semedo will solve Nuno’s biggest problem.
A player who has been capped 13 times for Portugal and made more than 100 appearances for Barcelona in three seasons is the Doherty update the Wolves have been longing for.
