As the number of coronavirus cases continues to rise, the country has seen a number of new rules and restrictions on social gatherings both indoors and outdoors.
Earlier in the week, the ‘rule of six’ was implemented, making it illegal to meet in groups of more than six in England.
But Boris Johnson has so far refused to implement a nationwide lockdown, rather than relying on local rules.
Across the UK, roughly 10 million Britons are now affected by local and regional restrictions.
And next week, more rules will come into play for Lancashire, Merseyside and Warrington, prohibiting residents from meeting others outside of their support bubbles.

So what are the rules in different parts of the country?
