Crystal Palace XI vs Manchester United: confirmed initial team news, expected lineup, latest injuries

Roy Hodgson remains without a number of center-backs before Crystal Palace’s trip to Manchester United, but he has plenty of options going forward.

Both Eberechi Eze and Michy Batshuayi started Tuesday’s 0-0 draw with Bournemouth at the Carabao Cup, where the Eagles were eliminated on penalties.

Eze has yet to start a Premier League match for Palace, while Batshuayi spent his first league match at the club watching the win over Southampton from the bench.

The Belgian could well be thrown in to lead the line at Manchester United on Saturday, although Hodgson may feel it is too early for Eze given how much work he will have to do with the ball.

Given the injuries, Hodgson’s back makes four picks, while captain Luka Milivojevic could well start over in midfield after coming off the bench against the Saints.

Crystal Palace predicted XI vs Man Utd (4-4-2): Guaita; Ward, Dann, Kouyate, Mitchell; Ayew, McArthur, Milivojevic, Schlupp; Zaha, Batshuayi
