GARETH BALE sealed his return to Spurs for the rest of the season, but he could end up staying MORE.
Welsh superstar Bale was harassed by fans when he arrived at Tottenham training ground on Friday to close out his season loan from Real Madrid.
The north London club agreed to pay a percentage of his salary in a deal amounting to around £ 12 million for the season, and they will officially confirm this today.
SunSport understands that if the move goes well, it could even be extended for another year until the end of NEXT SEASON, when his contract with the Bernabéu expires.
The Spurs have worked the numbers to stay within their pay structure and bring back the 31-year-old Bale, seven years after selling him to the Spanish giants for a world record £ 86 million.
