A mother of 13 who appeared in Extraordinary Pregnancies was found hanged in a forest after being marred by “personal problems”.

Mandy Gardner was last seen alive five days before being found dead near her home in Worthing, West Sussex, on April 7.

An investigation heard that the 43-year-old woman had spoken about self-harm shortly before her death.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of death to be hanged and the coroner ruled that the mother’s death was suicide.

Mandy’s funeral took place in her hometown on June 15 at the Durrington Cemetery Chapel, according to The Sun newspaper.

The mother had appeared on TLC’s Extraordinary Pregnancies with her husband Nathan four years ago in 2016.

At the time of filming, the couple had 11 children and were eager to welcome their twelfth baby into the family.

On the show, proud mother Mandy said that she loved children and that the more children the couple had, the more they wanted. She gave birth to her thirteenth child two years ago.

She said: ‘There are times when it can be absolute chaos; They will be running dogs, children chasing dogs, adults chasing children chasing dogs!
