£ 360 for the digital edition.
Sony has finally announced a price tag for the PlayStation 5. It costs £ 449.99 in the UK, while the digital edition costs £ 359.99.
Sony also announced the release date: November 12 in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, and November 19 in the UK.
It’s an aggressive pricing from Sony, which has matched the Xbox Series X price tag.
However, the PS5 Digital Edition costs £ 110 more than the Xbox Series S. But it’s worth remembering that the PS5 Digital Edition is the standard model without an optical drive, while the Xbox Series S is less powerful than the Xbox Series X.
Sony has said that the PS5 will be available for pre-order tomorrow, September 17, 2020 at “select retailers.” We are trying to find out which ones now.
