NEYMAR was one of FIVE players sent off after punching Marseille defender Álvaro González on the neck before accusing the Spaniard of racism.
The Brazilian claimed the defender called him a “monkey son of a bitch” after a big fight broke out at the end of Marseille’s surprising 1-0 win at Paris Saint-Germain.
But, after the game, González quickly took to social media in an attempt to clear his name with a strong anti-racism message.
Florian Thauvin scored the only goal of the bitter competition within half an hour to defeat last season’s Champions League finalists.
But the real action came to death, as Neymar, 28, was between FIVE the stars gave their marching orders in a game that saw a staggering 15 cards dealt.
The images appear to show former Manchester United winger Ángel Di María spitting on Álvaro.
Neymar later accused the central of racism while leaving the field.
Neymar was seen pointing at the Spaniard and yelling what appeared to be: “Racism, right?”
After the game, the PSG star doubled down on his accusation and tweeted: “My only regret is that I didn’t punch him in the face.”
Shortly after, he posted another tweet that said, “VAR, catching my ‘aggression’ is easy.
“Now I want to see the image of the racist calling me“ MONO H *** DE P *** ”(monkey son of a p ***) that I want to see!
“What’s wrong? You punish me. They kick me out. What’s wrong with him? What’s wrong?”
But González responded to Neymar’s bold claims on Twitter.
The Marseille star posed for a photo alone with his black teammates.
González captioned the post: “There is no place for racism.
“Clean race and with many colleagues and friends on a daily basis.
“Sometimes you have to learn to lose and take it to the field.
“Incredible 3 points today. Allez l’OM. Thank you family.”
Neymar himself retaliated with an incredible response to his tweet, saying that González “is not a man” and is a “racist.”
The Brazilian wrote: “You are not a man to accept your mistake, losing is part of the sport.
“Now insulting and bringing racism into our lives no, I don’t agree.
“I DON’T RESPECT YOU! YOU HAVE NO CHARACTER!
“BE A MAN. RACIST.”
The angry affair turned into chaos five minutes after the six additions to the end of normal time.
Dario Benedetto unleashed pandemonium when he slammed into Leandro Paredes as the two battled for a high ball.
The referee gave a free kick, but Paredes reacted angrily to the challenge and pounced on Benedetto and pushed him to the ground.
Benedetto clutched his face as players from both teams piled into the melee.
Paredes then pounced on Álvaro, who fell dramatically.
Next, Layvin Kurzawa and Jordan Amavi traded Karate Kid-style kicks in the middle of the skirmishes.
The referee produced straight reds for the pair as the bags went down.
It also gave yellow and red seconds later to both Benedetto and Paredes.
Before a word in his ear from the VAR made him head to the touchline to check the monitor and sweep up the fouls he had missed.
And that’s where the official spotted Neymar’s infraction.
The astute forward struck Álvaro on the back of the neck with his fist behind the defender as he argued with opponents after his clash with Paredes.
But cameras caught the offense and the referee stepped back to emit a direct red that was greeted with a fitting sarcastic applause from the disgraced Brazilian.
The final whistle came shortly after with PSG recording their second loss of the season leaving them in the relegation zone of Ligue 1.
