Everton have completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Allan from Napoli on a three-year contract.

The 29-year-old is moving to Goodison Park for an undisclosed fee, but Everton has paid € 25 million (£ 22.3 million) plus an additional € 3 million (£ 2.7 million) in incentives, according to Sky in Italy.

The move sees Allan, who has been caps for Brazil nine times, reunite with Carlo Ancelotti at Everton, having previously worked for the Italian for two seasons while in charge of Napoli.

Ancelotti’s draw saw Everton overtake competition from Atlético de Madrid and Borussia Dortmund to capture Allan, who spent five years in Naples.
