Pit Chat: Ferrari is even more of a laughingstock

The jokes continue at Ferrari’s expense, while Max Verstappen continues to amuse himself in some way in a predictable world of Formula 1.

Time to take a look at the featured images, clips and social media posts from the Belgium Grid Prix weekend …

Zzzzz

On-track action may be lacking in recent races, but luckily the drivers are doing their best to remain entertained.

Max Verstappen channeled his inner Fernando Alonso in the post-race press conference after a rather lonely race trying to chase the two Mercedes cars.

It led to the most predictable (but still a lot of fun) Photoshop of all time.

But we really like the mood that Max is in right now. He has been in a very good mood despite knowing that he will have to wait at least one more year for a title battle.

He also politely told his former teammate Daniel Ricciardo where to go when the Australian nearly passed him to P3 on the starting grid at Spa.

And there was just a lovely touch after the race.

Comedy club

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse for Ferrari… it does. For the first time since 2010, both Ferrari cars finished the race and both finished outside the points.

They will be the butt of many Formula 1 jokes for a long time until they finally get their shit done.

Lando Norris knew exactly what was in store for Charles Leclerc and made it known to everyone during one of his legendary Twitch broadcasts.

Then the renamed Ferrari badge came out as the problems continued through the weekend.

So if that wasn’t cruel enough …

However, the most defining picture came after qualifying, when both Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel were unable to drag their hideous cars into Q3.

All that’s left to do is laugh … or else he will surely cry.

A close second was Mattia Binotto’s reaction to the lack of pace.

Any other business

Elsewhere, it was good to see that Ziggo Sport has gone from Verstappen to Ocon in Brazil 2018. A bit, huh?

However, Lando was also a bit mischievous. You literally have to drag it sometimes!

Outside of Formula 1, we loved this curiously satisfying clip from F3. Hypnotic.

And Daniel Ricciardo was just saying what’s on a lot of people’s minds …

Last word

A special mention deserves Pierre Gasly. Kicking off the momentum he made at a track where he lost his close friend a year ago shows the incredible determination and spirit that this 24-year-old has.

We hope Anthoine liked it too.
