Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has delayed his arrival at the Netherlands national team camp to complete his Manchester United medical examination.
Van de Beek is set to join United for £ 40 million and sign a five-year deal.
The 23-year-old will receive a significant increase from his current salary of £ 30,000 per week.

Van de Beek is on the Netherlands team for their Nations League matches at home to Poland and Italy, but will connect with the team later than initially planned.
Her father, Andre van de Beek, described the impending transfer as “a dream come true.”
As reported by Omroep Gelderland, he said: ‘This is a dream come true. It is the perfect time for him to take this step towards such a beautiful club. Many clubs were interested, but Donny made this decision himself.

Speaking from his hometown of Nijkerkerveen, Andre said his phone hasn’t stopped since news of the transfer broke. He added: “They are a proud people.”
Negotiations on a deal for van de Beek accelerated Sunday after United increased their interest.
Van de Beek will add more creativity to a United team that already includes Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.
Tottenham reportedly made one last attempt to sign van de Beek but was eager to join United after being convinced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
A product of the famous Ajax academy, van de Beek has made 175 appearances for the Dutch club and scored 41 goals.
He won the Eredivisie and the Dutch Cup in the 2018-19 campaign, and was part of the Ajax team that was defeated by United in the 2017 Europa League final.
