José Mourinho named Chelsea manager Frank Lampard as the best professional he has worked with during the new Spurs documentary ‘All or nothing’ on Amazon Prime.

Lampard was one of Mourinho’s key players during their time together at Stamford Bridge and the pair helped the club win two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and two League Cup trophies.

Lampard is now one of Mourinho’s managerial rivals in the Premier League and the former England midfielder guided Chelsea to two wins over Spurs last season.

But before Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Spurs in December, Mourinho privately praised his former player during a conversation with Christian Eriksen, which was shown on episode three of ‘All or Nothing’ on Amazon Prime.

During a scene where Mourinho was watching Lampard’s press conference with the Spurs players, Eriksen asked the Tottenham manager: ‘Nice guy?’

Mourinho replied: ‘Frank? Yes.

Mourinho then added: ‘Professional as a player. The best I’ve ever seen.

Mourinho then said ‘it’s something like that’ and then gestured towards Eriksen which emphasized how focused Lampard was.

Mourinho also incorrectly predicted that Chelsea would ‘screw up’ in the race to secure a top four result.

Speaking ahead of the 2-0 loss at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Mourinho told his players: ‘We win tomorrow, Chelsea lose at Manchester City, they shit.

‘Nine points, they come here in December, they shit. We can be in the top four. ‘

Chelsea finished the season in fourth place, while Mourinho guided Spurs to sixth place, seven points behind Lampard’s team.
