NHS worker under investigation after claiming coronavirus is ‘a bunch of bitches’

An NHS worker who admitted she did ‘screwed up’ during the pandemic and claimed the coronavirus was a ‘load of bitches’ is now under investigation.

Louise Hampton, a Care UK employee, who met 10,000 other anti-blockade protesters in London yesterday, said “our service was dead.”

‘This is my bitch certificate.’ Hampton said in the video while brandishing a card given to her and other NHS workers. ‘I didn’t applaud for the NHS, I didn’t applaud for myself. Because why would I clap for myself when I did shit? ‘

Hampton’s tough message comes amid growing fears over the backlog of millions of cancer screenings and other operations that have been delayed by the pandemic.

Nine coronavirus deaths and 1,276 cases were recorded in the UK on Friday.

Meanwhile, Cancer Research UK estimates that 2.4 million people were waiting for a cancer screening test, more tests or cancer treatment at the end of May, with a backlog of around 2.1 million people waiting for a breast, bowel, or cervix screening test.

The Royal College of Surgeons revealed last week that 2 million operations have been delayed because only the most urgent surgeries are being performed.

In the clip posted on Ms Hampton’s Facebook page, she said: ‘I am a real NHS worker and apparently worked very hard during Covid. Did I do bitches? That’s why it’s a certified bitch.

At the event, protesters called for “an end to government lies” and the restoration of all freedoms as they marched down Downing Street to the Houses of Parliament.

The day after posting her video, Ms Hampton posted saying that she had received ‘so many messages of support’ from people, including NHS workers.
