Youth Ignore Coronavirus Blocking Measures To Fight In Cemetery

A large group of youths have been filmed ignoring the rules of confinement and social gathering while fighting in a cemetery.

Despite the fact that the government said it is not safe to be outside with people who do not live in their home, and to stay at least two meters away from everyone else, the young people were seen gathering for a coup.

The video was filmed at Toxteth Cemetery in Liverpool on Wednesday afternoon, the Liverpool Echo reports.

It shows a group of around 20 young people standing together, before several of them are apparently seen fighting in the video captured by a passerby.

Although the coronavirus blockade was slightly relieved this week, allowing people to exercise as much as they wanted, it is not allowed to meet in groups.

Young people gathered near the church.

An eyewitness said: “My housemate and I were going to take a daily walk through the cemetery and upon entering we immediately saw a large group of young people very close together.”

“None of them distanced themselves socially and they fought and made a lot of contact with each other.”

They started fighting near the tombstones

“Another group joined in as well, in total there were at least 20, if not more.”

Under the new guide, issued Sunday night by the Prime Minister, people are allowed to spend more time outdoors and sunbathe where they couldn’t before.

Eyewitnesses were shocked by the fight

People can only meet another person from a different home outdoors while distancing themselves socially at all times.

They are not yet allowed to meet in a group of more than two people from outside their home.

The only settings where the law allows it is for work, funerals, removals, support for vulnerable people and in emergencies.
