A PACK of wild teens was filmed kicking a helpless key worker over the head as he scooped up his pockets and laughed at the “easy” attack.
The man, a Polish citizen who works in the UK as a fruit picker, lies on the ground as he surrounds him and repeatedly kicks the group in Bridgwater, Somerset.
One of the thugs appears to be pulling items out of his pockets while his friends laugh and film the incident. The horrible attack was later published on social media.
Avon and Somerset police have made several arrests in connection with the incident after being alerted yesterday to the footage.
The video shows a boy shouting “f * ck you” with a Polish accent as the attack unfolds.
Another yells “hey, idiot, download yourself” before kicking the victim.
The man shrugs and covers his head when another boy in a high-visibility jacket jumps on him as another young man rummages in his pockets.
After removing the possessions from his pocket, the thief kicks the man in the head, sending him back to the ground.
Another child laughs and says “how is he alive?” while the victim lies on the floor before receiving another kick to the head.
A heartless girl filming the attack says, “Don’t do anything else because I’ll turn off the camera for a minute.”
The cruel attack, which occurred Tuesday night in Bridgwater, Devon, quickly outraged the community there.
Leilah Robinson shared the video and wrote: “The ‘that was easy’ followed by laughter makes me feel physically sick. What is it like to beat up an innocent key worker in the least bit?
The man was reportedly taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Avon and Somerset police confirmed that officers have made “a series” of arrests in connection with the video.
A spokesperson said: “In connection with our previous post on the social media video of an assaulted man, we have made a series of arrests and are currently not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident at this time.”
“If you have any information that may aid the investigation, please contact us citing record 1190 as of May 12, 2020.”
