It is about McDonald’s reopening 15 of its restaurants in the south tomorrow for delivery only.
El Sol may also reveal that bosses are planning to open more outlets as part of the gradual reopening during the summer.
McDonald’s is opening some, for delivery and then next week, to test how to do it safely.
They want to make sure in trials that car staff, delivery drivers, and customers are not at risk of contracting coronavirus.
GET THROUGH THIS
Bosses initially focus on delivery and driving lanes, which can be done more safely than customers entering branches.
The Phase 2 driving trial also stretches across the north and Ireland after complaints last week that the 15 for delivery were primarily held in and around London.
You will then decide whether to focus on rollout or push forward, or both more slowly, as part of phases 3 and 4 of your reopening plans.
The fast-food giant’s bosses think having a few restaurants open in a city will make managing demand easier and keeping customers happy.
McDonald’s has already announced the reopening of 15 restaurants tomorrow, May 13, just for delivery orders.
From these branches, customers can only order food from Uber Eats and Just Eat.

Customers will be asked to pay for their food by card and contactless payments when possible.
