“There has to be a new normal,” he said. “We will come out of our bubbles, we will be around more people.”
“Our plan was to go hard and go early so that we can get our economy moving again sooner, so we can reap the economic benefit of getting the right health response.” So far, we have, ” he said.

Ardern also threatened to reintroduce the rules of social distancing if New Zealanders did not follow the “golden rules” of the level two alert.
Those conditions include social distancing in public, staying home if you are sick, sticking to the rule of gathering 10 people, and washing your hands well.
New Zealand alert level three was in place for two weeks, while the strictest alert stage, level four, was enforced for 33 days.
Ms. Ardern said the recently announced set of rules would be reviewed in two weeks.
