Speaking to the camera, the 35-year-old smiled as he shared a recorded message for the OnSide Awards, which were broadcast due to social distancing guidelines.
He said: “Congratulations to each of you for surviving, but also for prospering.
“These stories and these challenges, these daily challenges that you face are incredible.
“Many people will never understand it.
“You have the strength to get ahead.”
Her words echoed Meghan’s when the Duchess of Sussex spoke about her own desire not only to survive but to thrive in life.
Speaking in the ITV documentary after the couple’s trip to Africa, she said, “I have long said that H, that’s what I call it, is not enough to survive something, is it?
“That is not the point of life.
“You have to prosper, you have to be happy.”
The message comes when the OnSide Awards aired tonight, reviving those young people who were honored for making a difference in their community.
‘THIS TOO SHALL PASS’
And Harry looked nostalgic as he recalled the award ceremony he had attended in London last year before the couple renounced royalty and moved to Canada before moving to the United States.
He said: “Just a few months ago we were all together in London at the OnSide Youth Center Awards and what a night that was.
“I remember meeting so many amazing people and hearing your stories, stories of strength, determination, resilience.”
But the father, who recently celebrated his son Archie’s first birthday, urged young Britons to focus on his support network.
Speaking to the camera, Harry said, “I can only imagine that in the past six weeks I have made it even more challenging, but this will also pass.
“Before you know it, you’ll be back together again.
“Probably in a youth area running around and having the best time.”
Harry looked casual, in a black shirt as he sat in front of a beige wall.
He and Meghan are said to have resided in the Tuscan-style eight-bedroom house of Perry, a close friend of Oprah Winfrey, since March.
While they have kept a relatively low profile after their move to the United States, the couple have shared some thoughts about their new life.
They recently shared a sweet video of Meghan reads to Archie to celebrate her first birthday, and Harry heard squawks in the background as they read Duck! Rabbit!
They have also continued to participate in charities, seen delivering food around Los Angeles.
