Wisbech: Images show forensic investigators at ‘sudden death’ scene in Cambs

The first images of the scene show the police presence in a Cambridgeshire town as officers investigate a ‘sudden death’.

A member of the public alerted police to the presence of a body outside an industrial unit on Sandall Road, Wisbech, around 5:10 am today (May 9).

According to a police spokesman, detectives are treating the cause of death as “inexplicable” and are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Images from Sandall Road show at least four police vehicles, as well as several officers, some of whom are wearing protective gear.

A police cordon remains in place at the location, where investigations are currently underway.

The road has also been closed between Weasenham Lane and Railway Road.
