The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will launch a new government campaign focused on ensuring people’s mental well-being during the coronavirus pandemic.

Prince William and his wife Kate narrate the video for Public Health England’s Every Mind Matters, which will air on national television channels and social media beginning Monday, April 20.

With the words “we’re in this together,” the couple announces the scheme that includes new advice from NHS experts and tips for taking care of your mental well-being and supporting your family and loved ones during the crisis.

William and Kate say: “Across the country, people stay home to protect the NHS and save lives.

The couple share the message: “we are in this together”

“It is not always easy. We can feel frustrated, miss loved ones, or feel anxious.

“So now, more than ever, every mind matters.

“There are things that we can all do to take care of our mental well-being at this time.

“Show you simple steps to help you deal with stress, improve your mood, and feel on top of everything.

“Search Every Mind Matters to get your action plan today.

“We’re in this together.”

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, speak to staff during a visit to Control Room 111 of the London Ambulance Service.

The campaign was updated after new data shows that more than 4 in 5 Britons are concerned about the effect that the coronavirus is having on their lives, and more than half say it is affecting their well-being.

The original was released last October with a similar video involving William and Kate and featuring Prince Harry and Meghan, before they quit the royal family.

Almost half of the respondents said they experienced high levels of anxiety due to the unprecedented time in which we live.

The personalized Covid-19 Mental Plan has specific content for people and loved ones and provides support for specific mental well-being problems such as anxiety, stress, low mood and sleep problems.

The website directs people to activities such as mindful breathing exercises, help to reformulate useless thoughts, and muscle relaxation.

Health and Social Work Secretary Matt Hancock said: “We have asked people to make unprecedented changes in their daily lives as part of our national effort to respond to this global pandemic.

“Staying home and not seeing friends and loved ones can take its toll and it’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed or anxious.
