Six more coronavirus patients have died at Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital in Stafford, as 500 more cases were confirmed throughout the area.
The number of people who have died at North Midlands NHS Trust University Hospital has now risen to 409 since the start of the pandemic.
A further 126 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Stoke-on-Trent in the latest update, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 4,644.
374 new cases were also confirmed in the rest of Staffordshire, including 84 in Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough, 35 in Staffordshire Moorlands and 58 in Stafford Borough.
Across the border in Cheshire East another 104 cases were confirmed.

- Stoke on Trent: 4,644 (up to 126 since yesterday)
- Staffordshire Moors: 1,361 (up to 35 since yesterday)
- Newcastle District: 2,433 (84 since yesterday)
- Stafford Township: 2,024 (up to 58 since yesterday)
- Staffordshire County (all Staffordshire authorities, including South County, except Stoke-on-Trent): 13,485 (374 more than yesterday)
- East Cheshire: 6,382 (104 since yesterday)
