Initially scheduled for the month of January, the ceremony is held virtually due to the pandemic and will honor the best artists and songs from the world of music over the past year.
Leading this year’s nominations is Beyoncé with nine nominations, followed by Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and Roddy Ricch, who received six each. Megan Thee Stallion won the Best New Artist award, presented by Lizzo. Miranda Lambert won the Best Country Album award for Wildcard, and Harry Styles has won the award for best solo pop performance for “Watermelon Sugar.”
