How Trump or Biden could still win

Trump currently has 214 votes in the electoral college.

He had demanded election administrators “stop the count” in Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Georgia, and has claimed a “great legal victory” after his campaign said they obtained a court order in Philadelphia to enter a count to observe it.

“All the states that Biden recently claimed will be legally challenged by us for electoral fraud and state electoral fraud,” he promised in a tweet, again without providing evidence.

Biden’s team has dismissed the large-scale fraud allegations as “unfounded” and “political theater.”

An adviser, Bob Bauer, said: “It is to create an opportunity to send false messages about what is happening in the electoral process … This is part of a larger disinformation campaign.”

Gabriel Sterling, director of Georgia’s electoral system, asked for patience, saying that people should remain calm and wait for officials to finish their work.

“The speed is excellent and we appreciate it; we value the precision more,” he said.

“Accuracy will be the basis on which people will believe the results of this election, whether on the winning side or the losing side.”

A result is expected to be announced later Thursday, but could be further delayed if a recount is made.

In Nevada, no further results are expected until Friday.

If Biden changes Pennsylvania’s high-value target, then he would cross the 270 line and not need to rely on the other races left in smaller states.
