UK could wipe out daily cause of death Coronavirus After experts say officials ‘exaggerated’, reports all

The UK may scrap its official daily coronavirus counter attack following a review by Oxford University experts on how the deaths were counted, apparently finding results were “too exaggerated.”

“The conclusions of the review, which was commissioned by Matt Hancock after it emerged that officials were ‘too exaggerated’ killed by the virus, are expected this week,” The Telegraph reported. “One expected recommendation would be to stop the daily reporting altogether and go to a weekly official death toll, instead of what a government said on Sunday night.”

Matt Hancock, the UK’s Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, called for an inquiry into the handling of Public Health England in the daily count.

“It came after Oxford University experts revealed a significant portion of the hospital’s daily death toll, related to patients who recovered from the virus weeks or months earlier,” The Telegraph reported. “Under the previous system, anyone who had ever tested positive for the virus in England was automatically counted as a coronavirus death when they died, even if the death was from a car accident.”

Not every part of the UK had followed the same approach as Scotland and Wales, both of which had a 28-day reduction period after a patient tested positive for the coronavirus. After that time period, the patient, when she died, “was not automatically considered to have died from the virus,” Reuters reported. “Britain, one of the countries hard hit by the virus, reported more than 1,000 new COVID-19 infections on Sunday, its highest daily increase since June, taking the total number of cases past 310,000.”

One possible solution that is being considered is to move to a weekly official death toll instead of a daily death toll.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who was hospitalized with the coronavirus, was warned earlier this year by his top advisers that the Chinese Communist Party had lied about the scale of the outbreak in its country.

“Mr Johnson has been warned by scientific advisers that China’s officially released statistics on the number of coronavirus cases ‘could be downplayed by a factor of 15 to 40 times,'” the Daily Mail reported. “En [the British government] believes that China is trying to build its economic power during the pandemic with ‘predatory offers of aid’ [to] countries around the world. ‘”

Top UK officials were reportedly furious that China was trying to falsely blame the United States for the outbreak.

“There is a disgusting disinformation campaign and it is unacceptable,” one source told The Mail. “Sy [the Chinese government] know that they have done this wrong and rather they are spreading lies. “

Another government source told The Mail that when it came to the United Kingdom’s relationship with China it would “return to this diplomatic drawing plan. Rethink is an understatement.”

“It’s time to count when this is over,” said another source.

A fourth source told the British publication, “The anger is going straight to the top.”
