U.S. without border patrol court date in Rio Grande Valley. Consideration of releasing illegal crossers in

Exclusive: Fox News has learned from a senior source at the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that plans are under way to start freeing illegal border crossers for Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) Claims. (NTA) – means they will be released from custody without a court date.

If such a decision is implemented it will be unprecedented and will take on the responsibility of seeking asylum hearings on migrants through Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or legal aid.

The source says the rationale for the decision is that the situation “has become so dire that B.P. [Border Patrol] People have no choice but to dismiss immediately after the suspicion, as people don’t even have the space to do the necessary NTA paperwork. “

The process of giving NTA to each converter can take hours per individual or family. This will not apply to unadvised minors.

Texas-based RGV has zero ground for cross-border hikes and an overcapacity of over 70,000%.

When migrants are released into the RGV, Border Patrol usually coordinates it with Sister Norma Pimentel and her Catholic Humanitarian Resident Center. Pimentel tells Fox News that he is awake and “coordinates his response.”

Allegedly controversial steps have been taken at the table as the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is working to open another facility for unauthorized child migrants in Pacos, Texas, the Uge Fis Refugee Resettlement (ORR) announced Saturday.

The temporary influx care facility will have a population of at least 500 uninfected minors, with the capacity to hold 2,000 children.

While ORRA has worked to increase the capacity of its licensed beds to about 13,500 beds, additional capacity is urgently needed to manage both the advanced COVID-19 reduction strategy and the growing number of UC referrals from DHS, an ORR spokesman said.

The head of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Alejandro Mayorkas, said last week that border crossings would be the highest in 20 years.

The CBP announced that it had faced more than 100,000 migrants at the border in February, while the number of child migrants in custody has also increased dramatically. The Biden administration is moving to increase the capacity of home migrants’ facilities and to build a number of additional facilities, including NASA locations and military bases.

“We are in the process of confronting more individuals on the southwestern border than in the last 20 years,” Mayorkas said, however, adding that the situation was “not new” and noted that the U.S. Has previously faced pieces of the border.

On Friday, the Washington Post reported that the Biden administration was considering relocating flights for processing to states near the Canadian border.

Homeland Security officials told the Washington Post that the CBP had requested air support from the ICE on Friday after sending 1,000 displaced families and unaccompanied minors to South Texas on Friday morning. Border agents reported still more than 1,000 migrants they were unable to process on Thursday night.

The CBP’s backups have been further intensified by the legal, over 50,000 unaccompanied children held in detention centers and tent camps at the border beyond the three-day limit.
