Underwater diving can be treacherous, but diving into The Twilight Zone brings an even scarier set of problems. In this exclusive clip from a season 2 episode of the remake of the classic CBS science fiction anthology All Access, a group of scientists discover that some species might be better off undiscovered. (Disclaimer: ViacomCBS is the parent company of CNET).

In the clip, from an episode called 8, investigators are exploring the cold reaches of the world. But when they discover a highly intelligent new species, their existence may jeopardize more than their investigation. Colleagues are lost, there is what appears to be blood splattered everywhere and it’s a smart bet that the 40-kilogram octopus trapped in a refrigerator knows more than it’s letting go. Joel McHale, Nadia Hilker, Michelle Ang, Tim Armstrong and Brandon Jay McLaren star in the episode, written by Glen Morgan and directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
