WHAT DID THE CHIEF SAY BEFORE?
President of the Council of Higher Education Prof. Dr. Yekta Saraç, in his post on his Twitter account, stated that they frequently received questions from students and parents about the new academic year at universities.
“As YÖK, we ask our universities to plan their education and training calendars to start after October 1, 2020.” Using the statement, Saraç noted the following:
“In addition to this, it is also important to dilute students on campus and reduce mobility, and to this end, we have provided our universities with a wide range of opportunities in decision-making processes. In this way, it has been made possible for our universities to make different applications based on faculties and programs. As the new YÖK, we hope that the hybrid (hybrid) model that we have brought to the Turkish higher education system this time will be beneficial. “
Saraç emphasized that the most important issue in decision-making processes is the health of all academic and administrative personnel, especially the students entrusted to them by their families.
