The dates of the LGS exam that the Ministry of National Education performs each year in the context of the Transition System to Secondary School have been announced. Following the evaluation meeting chaired by MEB Deputy Minister Mahmut Özer, the study on the registration areas for quotas was started. During these times of extraordinary times due to the pandemic, students continue their distance education with EBA TV. The ministry, which does not leave students alone in the challenging year of testing, provides resource support with question packets and special test posts on the Education Information Network each month. In the oral part of the exam, which is carried out in two sessions, a total of 50 questions are formulated from the courses in Turkish, History of the Revolution and Kemalism of the Turkish Republic, Religious Culture, and Moral Knowledge and Foreign Languages. In the second session, the numerical part, a total of 40 questions from the Mathematics and Science courses are asked. So when and how will the LGS 2021 exam applications be made? WHEN WILL THE 2021 HIGH SCHOOL TRANSFER EXAM BE TAKEN?
According to the calendar announced by the Ministry of National Education, the central exam to be held in 2021 will take place on Sunday, June 6. Due to the conditions of the pandemic, the system automatically made the LGS exam requests last year.
The places of admission of the students who will take the exam are announced by MEB at least 7 days before the date of the exam through e-School. The exam rules and the information of the address of the school where the exam will take place are detailed in the exam entrance document.
WHO CAN TAKE THE LGS TEST?
Be in the 8th grade of formal secondary school in the 2020-2021 academic year.
For Students of Open Secondary Education and Temporary Education Center, to meet the condition of enrollment in the formal secondary education institution and continue their education in the 8th grade of the school where they study.
Students studying in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education abroad can apply for the LGS exam if they are trained in the eighth grade and are registered with the e-School.
HOW MANY QUESTIONS WILL STUDENTS BE ASKED ON THE LGS 2021 EXAM?
In the exams carried out in 2020 due to the pandemic process, students were held responsible only for the subjects of the first quarter, where they received face-to-face training. The Ministry of National Education announced that students will be responsible for all subjects and acquisitions in the 2021 exam. HOW MANY STUDENTS ATTENDED LGS IN 2020?
1,671,337 students automatically applied for the 2020 high school transition exam. Compared to 2019, the number of students taking the core exam has increased by 43 percent. 1 million 472 thousand 88 students attended the first session of the exam administered in 2020, and 1 million 472 thousand 303 students attended the second session.
