Peddler ED, who argued with three of his friends, thought he would be kidnapped and killed, and hid by entering the rainwater channel from the creek bed and escaped. Aiming to get through the canal and out of the sea, ED started to feel bad after a while due to the smell. ED asked for help drilling a culvert on Cumhuriyet Street. Upon notification from the chestnut seller, who heard the voices, the firefighters opened the manhole cover and removed the ED. ED was taken by ambulance to Rize State Hospital.
