A funeral ceremony was held at Üsküdar Karacaahmet Cemetery for the citizen named Mustafa Zeki Çiner, who died.
Before the funeral oration, a person named Şerif Aydoğmuş, who was among the crowd whose imam wanted to be ‘halal’, claimed that he had been wronged and said that he “did not grant his right to the law. While Aydoğmuş’s reaction was astonishing, another citizen, who stayed on the sidelines of the funeral, took Aydoğmuş with him and took him out of the funeral area.
Speaking on the matter, Aydoğmuş claimed that Çiner had completed the construction and renovation works of the 2,000-square-meter hotel consisting of 60 rooms in 2000 and that he spent 600,000 dollars during the construction works and said: “They sold the building without pay me a penny of this money. Since I couldn’t defend my rights at that time, they won the court. As a result, they say they owe me nothing in the presence of God. I built the whole building. For this reason, I could not halal my right, ”he said.
On the other hand, relatives of the Çiner family said that they won the court case presented in relation to the issue in recent years and that they will not pay.
