EVALUATION

The answers given to the tests applied in EKPSS will be evaluated separately for each test. The number of correct and incorrect answers given by each candidate to the tests will be determined. A quarter of the number of incorrect answers will be subtracted from the number of correct answers and the raw score that the candidate has received from the corresponding test will be found. The mean and standard deviation of that test will be found using the raw scores of the candidates who have at least one answer on the corresponding test. Then, using this mean and standard deviation, the standard scores with a mean of 50 and a standard deviation of 10 will be calculated for all candidates.

Candidates’ weighted scores will be calculated by weighting the calculated standard scores with a weight of 0.5 for each test of general ability and general culture.

The weighted scores will be converted to scores with the lowest 40 and the highest 100, and the candidates’ EKPSSP1 will be calculated for the secondary education level, EKPSSP2 for the associate degree level, and EKPSSP3 for the undergraduate level.

After the exam, the questions that are decided to cancel by the Presidency of OSYM or the judicial authorities will be excluded from the evaluation and the score will be made by redetermining the score value of the valid questions.
