President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the Technology Oriented Industrial Movement: MESS Technology Center and 40 Factory Opening Ceremony held at MESS Technology Center. Erdogan’s statements, which began his speech by explaining the importance of the month of Muharrem and commemorating the Karbala martyrs, are as follows:

– We will open a new era in the field of competitive technology in this center, which was carried out with an investment of TL 200 million. Turkish industrialists continue to produce, add value and create jobs, despite those who rub their hands over the stumbling of our economy.

– During the epidemic period, many of our companies had the opportunity to open up to countries and regions where they had never existed before or where they had limited market share. We see export-oriented companies further expanding their range of clients. The impact of the epidemic through stones rather than the accelerating speed that matures Turkey’s domestic catches will further increase.

– Someone reluctantly, we are committed to transforming Turkey into a base for global manufacturing and technology at the center of three continents. We have created the infrastructure for this with the steps we have taken over the last 18 years. We have never allowed our merchants, industrialists, farmers and workers to be crushed under the high burden of interest.

– We signed a structural reform in the incentive system and changed to a district system. The share of R&D expenditures in our national income has exceeded 1 percent for the first time in our history. By increasing the number of Organized Industrial Zones from 193 to 321, we strengthened the productive capacity of our country. We do not have provinces without an organized industrial zone. We continue our investments without slowing down.

– Turkey 18 years ago, according to purchasing power parity, even the allocation of ımf’siz today is the thirteenth largest economy in the world. Turkey smashes old visions of a few billion dollars in the country’s economy that has now completely become history.

– With our 85 technoparks and 1607 R&D and design centers, we are one step closer to our ideal of developing new technologies. By focusing on indigenization and self-reliance, we must create new leapfrog areas that put us ahead of the global competition. I hope that we will make the moving program a reality in other high-tech sectors, such as transport vehicles, chemicals, pharmacy and electronics.

– I sincerely congratulate each of our companies that create direct employment opportunities for our 4 thousand citizens and indirect employment opportunities for our tens of thousands of people with a total investment of TL 4 billion.
