Violence against Muslims increased after Master Samuel Paty was beheaded and assassinated in Paris, France.

In the statement made by the governorate in Bordeaux, France, it was reported that the inscriptions were written on the wall of a mosque and the windows were broken.

In the city of Béziers, it was announced that a mosque received an arson threat on Facebook and the mosque association filed a complaint.

After the fact, the mosques were taken under the protection of the security forces. In making a statement on the matter, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said: “These acts of violence are unacceptable on the territory of the republic.”
