Joe Biden, who was elected President of the United States, said of President Donald Trump’s refusal to accept the election results: “I think this is shameful. All I can say is that it will not benefit the legacy that the president will leave behind. ”
Biden made statements in the state of Delaware about Trump’s refusal to admit defeat.
Emphasizing that the Trump administration’s refusal to acknowledge the victory of the Democrats “will not change the dynamic,” Biden said they have consistently carried out their transition to the White House.
Stating that nothing can stop the transition plans, Biden said: “America came back and got into the game again. There is no “just America” anymore. I had the opportunity to speak with 6 world leaders, countries like UK, France, Germany, Canada and Ireland. We will take America back to its former respectable place. ”
When asked if Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell also did not acknowledge the election results and met with him, Biden said he did not meet with McConnell but hoped to meet soon.
Biden said, “With a few notable exceptions, the entire Republican Party was bullied by the President (Trump).”
When asked if he had a message for Trump, Biden replied, “ I’m looking forward to speaking with Trump.
“It will be a smooth transition to the second term of the Trump administration,” said US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Stating that there is no evidence for his claim, Biden said: “ I think this is embarrassing. All I can say is that it will not benefit the legacy that the president will leave behind. ”
