64-year-old lead actor Halil Kumova, who starred in the movie ‘Zalo’, which is still being filmed in the Yeşilyurt district of Malatya, suddenly fell ill while on set.
Kumova, who was taken to Turgut Özal University Training and Research Hospital by the set officials, was immediately operated on when her heart stopped. The master player whose heart was resurrected was taken to intensive care, but here again, despite all the interventions made to the heart of his heart, he could not be saved.
It was also known that a sample was taken for the Kumova Covid-19 test, which was determined that he died of respiratory failure due to pneumonia in the first examinations.
He took roles in many movies.
Halil Kumova, who was born in Bursa on March 23, 1956, moved to Istanbul in 2000 after working under contract at the Bursa State Theater for a long time. Kumova, who has been acting in movies and television series since then, has appeared in nearly 100 films and television series so far.

Actress teacher Kumova recently starred in the film ‘Zalo’, written and directed by Necati Aslan. The film, which began shooting in the Yeşilyurt and Arapgir districts of Malatya, shares the leading roles as Sermiyan Midyat, Kıvanç Baran Aslan, Belma Memati, Aslı Balcı, Ersel Sibil and Sanem Seyhan. The shooting of the movie, which was about the robbery of the Governor of Malatya by 3 people in 1933, was suspended for a time due to the death of Kumova.
