We learned that almost 20 buildings were badly damaged. We saw that there were no major problems with the Narlıdere metro, our tram lines and the İZSU canals. We saw that there were partial power outages. We received the information that natural gas was cut off for precautionary measures. We started making calls so that our citizens do not travel in private vehicles in those regions. Meanwhile, as soon as we reached the demolition areas, we saw that the search and rescue teams of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality began to work. We saw that the earthquake in the Bayraklı and Seferihisar region had a much more destructive effect. There was no major damage to Seferihisar. We saw that there was a lot of damage in Bayraklı and we started a very intensive work on this. “

Therefore, we want to continue this connection with non-governmental organizations. “
WE DECIDE TO ESTABLISH A CONTAINER CITY
“Yesterday we attended the meeting with our four ministers. We held a meeting with Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and the vice-presidents and members of the CHP PM. Then we have a meeting to which I can summon almost the entire Council of Ministers. We try to clarify cooperation to work in harmony and reach out to citizens. The duty of making the dormitories and guest houses of public institutions available to our citizens was entrusted by the President. It was decided to work together to establish a container city. We offer alternative location options. On the other hand, we created a base to control the contributions of our district municipalities. All our district municipalities want to support, we must coordinate it. “
GROUND SUPPORT FROM THE PUBLIC BEGINS
“Many of our citizens live abroad. They try to spend the night in the parks. This situation can take a long time. For this reason, we need to bring these supports to a sustainable point. Sustainability is important to ensure both the sustainability of these efforts and the immediate provision of everything necessary. Also, if those who want to donate are not coordinated, a situation can occur such as not achieving their purpose. One of the jobs that we will do for this was the support campaign that we carried out with the name of the town grocer. We offered two packages and our 47,000 donor citizens purchased these packages. We launched this campaign with five headings: two will be for food aid, the third for provisions, the fourth for hygiene and the fifth for sleeping bags. As long as they want to support these five topics, they will have the choice and the amount of support they want. We will coordinate. “
“THE SUPPORT IS A LOT, WE HAVE ESTABLISHED A COORDINATION TEAM THAT WILL NOT HAVE BEEN”
“I would like to especially thank our mayors. We all have great concern for Izmir and want to support them with great volunteerism, and we have established a strong coordination team so that they are not wasted. “
“I AM PROUD TO BE THE SPECIALIST IN THIS CITY”
“The leaders of our political parties were here. We hold meetings with both our CHP president and our president. Both the chairman of the IYI party, the chairman of the HDP and the chairman of the BBP were here. I offer my thanks. 50 hours you sleep very little, you live at the expense of serious working firefighters, AFAD teams, search and rescue teams from all over Turkey, I would like to thank individually. I would like to thank the more than 5,000 employees of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. We are grateful to our friends who saved lives. We have citizens who continue with their lives on one side but also on one side of this business. I would like to thank all of our volunteers who work so hard to save your peace. It shows how much you internalize Izmir’s culture of solidarity. I am proud to be a member of this city. I’m thankful. The work you do is very valuable. The emotion that bothers people the most is uncertainty. Thanks to you, our citizens are informed. Thank you. “
“WE DO A WORKSHOP”
“We established an earthquake department last month, but after this great disaster, we will hold a workshop. A subject that must be studied again. We will organize a workshop in a much broader framework. A workshop on earthquakes throughout Izmir will shed light on us. These studies will affect our planning efforts. This study will be useful in Turkey. “
“HAVE REQUESTS FOR INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT”
“We go to the disaster area every day. Help came from Armenia, Greece and Azerbaijan. There are requests for support from international institutions that come directly to us. “
